Wedding planning is HARD. This part shouldn’t be. As someone who has “been there, done that” with getting married back in 2021, I know how important it is that your day is as perfect as possible.
I get giddy the second I get that email notification with your inquiry, and the gears instantly start turning to envision the perfect day for you and your fiancé. Throughout the planning process, we really get to know each other through your engagement session with me, and when we sit down together to create a photography timeline that reflects you as a couple in the most authentic, loving way.
I got the fly-away hairs, the dress fluffing, the tie-fixing, along with photographing your most perfect day, of course! Wedding days are when my Type A and creative brain come together, where I notice that tear your grandmother wipes from her eyes as she sees you in your dress for the first time. Or when your bridesmaids are peeking through the window to catch a glimpse of your first look with your dad. All these details don’t go unnoticed, while also capturing the larger moments that we all anticipate to happen.
You blink and it’s almost time for you to get in your getaway car at the end of the night. My approach to wedding days makes sure that when the dress is hung up, the flowers wilt, and the cake is eaten, your photos will freeze these memories for you to cherish until the end of time.
In my eyes, you are more than a client, a paycheck, or a number on a checklist. You are a person to me and so much more! The moment you book with me, I welcome you into my little life with open arms. This part doesn’t come with the typical crazy family drama that everyone has (unless you want the inside scoop) but instead, the understanding that I love, care, and cherish the energy you dedicate to having me capture your memories.
I treat you like my family and even bring mine along to wedding days! Remember how I mentioned I got married in 2021? Well, it just so happens that my husband doubles as my second shooter, and you will often find him alongside me on wedding days! From wrangling groomsmen to holding bouquets, I don't know how I would survive wedding days without him!
